i finally managed to find time to watch transformers 2 on the big screen! i've been pretty busy these few weeks im also unsure what my life is all about. june sped by and now we're already in mid-july, somehow it all just feels too fast, which is good also cos im officially less than 8 months to ord! yeah!

nice right! look carefully and you'll observe many manly touches, like that huge set of rims, the macho grilles, that vroom vroom spoiler oh i think i'll never get enough of the beetle's backside, even sexier now!

singapore our homeland, it's here that we belong
all of us united, one people marching on
we've come so far together, our common destiny
singapore forever, a nation strong and free

don't you just feel so proud to be a singaporean? sometimes im so happy i cry. haha. and cry i nearly did again when sengyong passed me two admission tickets for this year's combined rehearsal.

i chose the right partner for this event. other than apples, serene also brought along orange juice! wah ndp picnic man!


the red lions kick started the ndp by coming in from the sky!


wooooooo, singapore! haha.



this year's parade got alot of stunning elements, excellent for a restless big kid like me. roar lion roar!


our home team was activated for a supposed bomb threat on the floating platform. heng never explode. -_-


the air force and navy also came in to pursue alleged terrorists coming in from the seas (think mumbai attacks, except in this case they come from singapore river).

one of the rare times you find me so proud of our army. lol.





oh i forgot to mention that we also met four of our other friends while queuing up for the goodie bags. and then after we got seated together we saw one more friend behind us and two more friends in other sectors! wah it's so easy to bump into people at the parade!




personally i really enjoyed this year's ndp for its novel way of retelling the singapore story. the whole show was truly fantastic.

boy was it a great parade! we met up with some other ambassadors after the parade and went to this ramen eating place at orchard plaza with cal's recommendation.


ramen was sold out and all seven of us had to eat cold noodles for that's all they had left. food was great but i forgot to take pictures of the signboard. check out hungrygowhere if you're keen on this ok, only $12!


after that was a crazy l4d session at parklane! hahaha. it was a good day.

jie gave birth to her second child clarisse at east shore today. 世上只有妈妈好...


wah nowadays hospital's decor also very up there sia, machiam hotel lobby like that.

today i brought mum to tung lok east coast for dinner. mum and uncle's treat. (:






food was not bad but too expensive. doubt i'll return to tung lok again soon.



oh no im running out of time again! shall update more next week eeeyur i hate blog backlogs! haha. meanwhile all of you have a good week ahead while i go outfield first thing in the morning tomorrow. hahaha.
